About ORCA

Orca is a general-purpose humanoid from Cyan Robotics (Shanghai Qingxin Yichuang Technology), a startup incubated in Shanghai's robotics hub. Designed for stability and accessibility, Orca combines a clean, lightweight mechanical structure with an 'emotional gait' system driven by large language models, allowing it to mimic human-like expressions through movement from bouncy, happy steps to slumped, sad postures.

The robot features an OLED face screen for dynamic interaction and is capable of stable straight-knee walking, a challenge for many humanoids. It demonstrated its reliability by completing a half-marathon in Beijing without falls. With a modular design aimed at easy maintenance and a price point between $40,000-$50,000, Orca targets research, education, and early industrial applications.
