About DR02

Deep Robotics' DR02 claims a significant industry first: IP66 waterproof and dustproof protection rating, making it the world's first all-weather humanoid robot suitable for outdoor industrial deployment. This addresses a critical limitation of most humanoids: inability to operate in rain, dust, or temperature extremes.

Standing 175 cm tall with 68 cm arm length, the DR02 matches adult male proportions. Dual arms handle 10 kg operating load with 20 kg total carrying capacity. Walking speed of 1.5 m/s matches human pace, with 4 m/s maximum for emergency response. The robot climbs 25 cm stairs continuously and traverses 20° slopes.

The IP66 rating enables operation across –20°C to +55°C, bridging indoor factory use with outdoor environments where rain, dust, and temperature variations challenge unprotected robots. This opens applications in construction, logistics yards, outdoor inspection, and agricultural settings previously inaccessible to humanoids.

The DR02 features modular quick-detach design with replaceable arms, legs, and forearms for simplified maintenance. With 275 TOPS computing power and multi-sensor suite including LiDAR, depth sensors, and wide-angle cameras, the platform delivers the intelligence needed for autonomous outdoor operation. Deep Robotics' trajectory with revenue doubling and projections for 10,000 robot shipments and provides resources to pursue the outdoor industrial market few competitors currently address.
