About IGRIS-C
IGRIS-C is a compact humanoid robot developed by South Korean company Robros, standing 154 cm tall and weighing 56 kg. It features 31 degrees of freedom in the body including 7-DOF arms, 3-DOF waist, and 2-DOF neck, plus 11-DOF tendon-driven hands (6 motors each) for versatile object manipulation. The robot supports a 6 kg dual-arm payload and uses torque-based control with a 30:1 gear ratio for smooth joint actuation. Equipped with stereo cameras, Intel RealSense sensor, IMU for balance, and audio I/O for interactive applications. IGRIS-C can perform bipedal walking with 10 default poses and targets research, demonstration, service, and education markets. Unveiled at CES 2026 as a showcase of Korean humanoid technology.
