About MenteeBot

MenteeBot from Israel's Mentee Robotics represents one of the most technically sophisticated humanoid platforms emerging outside of China and the United States. Founded in 2022 by Mobileye founder Prof. Amnon Shashua with machine learning experts Prof. Lior Wolf and Prof. Shai Shalev-Shwartz, the company brings automotive AI expertise to humanoid robotics.

Standing 175 cm tall and weighing 70 kg, MenteeBot walks at speeds up to 1.5 m/s and can transport items up to 25 kg. The robot operates non-stop for up to 5 hours before requiring a recharge. Custom-built actuators deliver three times more power than competitors, improving efficiency and movement accuracy. Dual NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin processors enable advanced AI and real-time decision-making.

MenteeBot's AI leverages computer vision, natural language processing, and machine learning for dynamic real-world interaction. NeRF-based algorithms create cognitive 3D maps on the fly, storing semantic information for object location and path planning. The robot's locomotion uses novel Sim2Real machine learning for natural movement.

The company unveiled MenteeBot in April 2024 and has raised over $40 million with approximately 70 employees. In January 2026, Mobileye revealed plans to acquire Mentee in a deal valued at up to $900 million, validating the platform's commercial potential.
