The Codroid 02 is Estun Codroid Technology second-generation humanoid robot, officially launched at the 2025 Intelligent Robotics Development Conference on June 11, 2025. This full-size industrial humanoid represents a significant advancement in manufacturing automation.
Standing 170cm tall and weighing 70kg, Codroid 02 features 44 degrees of freedom across the body, including 7 DOF in each arm and 6 DOF in each leg, providing dexterous manipulation and agile mobility. The robot achieves exceptional motion control through full-body integrated joint modules entirely self-developed by Estun Codroid.
With a single-arm payload of 5kg and maximum payload capacity of 35kg, Codroid 02 handles heavy-duty tasks efficiently. The core components are independently developed to ensure fast response, high torque density, and long service life while maintaining stable operation and low noise.
Live demonstrations at the launch highlighted Codroid 02 industrial versatility: efficiently performing component grasping and material handling while executing precision tasks like screw fastening and quality inspection. Online learning capabilities enable the robot to continuously expand its skill library to adapt to flexible manufacturing needs.
