Friday is a highly dexterous mobile humanoid from South Korea's Holiday Robotics, founded in April 2024 by SUALAB's Ki-young Song. Standing 176 cm tall and weighing 115 kg (including a 66 kg mobile base for stability), Friday features an impressive 63 degrees of freedom. The robot has 7-DOF arms, 5-DOF torso, and remarkable 20-DOF hands weighing only 500g each with integrated tactile and force-torque sensors. Its wheeled chassis enables speeds up to 1.9 m/s with 24/7 operation capability via hot-swappable 4-hour batteries. Powered by NVIDIA Jetson Orin with LiDAR and depth cameras for perception. Targeting a price of approximately $70,000 USD (100 million KRW), equivalent to the annual cost of a manufacturing worker.
