About Kinisi KR1

The Kinisi KR1 (or Kinisi 01) is a practical, wheeled humanoid designed by US-based Kinisi Robotics for logistics and warehouse automation. Avoiding the complexity of legs, it uses an omnidirectional wheeled base to achieve speeds up to 14.4 km/h (8.9 mph), making it significantly faster than bipedal counterparts.

The robot features two human-scale arms capable of lifting 10 kg payloads, perfect for picking items from shelves and handling boxes. It processes data locally on an NVIDIA Jetson module for privacy and speed, and uses hot-swappable batteries for continuous 8-hour operation. Kinisi positions the KR1 as an affordable ($75,000) solution that integrates into existing warehouse workflows without requiring new infrastructure.
