About LUS 2

The LUS2 is the flagship general-purpose humanoid from Lumos Robotics, a Beijing-based startup founded in 2024. Designed for both industrial and service applications, it emphasizes high-dynamic motion control and reliability.

Standing 160 cm tall and weighing 57 kg, the LUS2 is remarkably agile, capable of standing up from a lying position in just one second thanks to its advanced neural motion control system. It moves at speeds up to 2 m/s and features a 3-hour runtime.

The robot's perception suite is comprehensive, including 360° LiDAR, Intel RealSense depth cameras, and tactile sensors in the fingers and palms. It runs on a proprietary OS with full ROS2 support, making it compatible with modern AI and reinforcement learning workflows. Lumos positions the LUS2 as a versatile platform for tasks ranging from industrial inspection to search-and-rescue.
