SwitchBot's Onero H1 brings humanoid robotics to consumer price points, debuting at CES 2026 with an unprecedented sub-$1,000 target price. The smart home company bets that coordinating with existing devices rather than doing everything independently enables affordable home humanoids.
Standing about 1.3 meters tall, Onero H1 features articulated arms with 22 degrees of freedom mounted on a wheeled cylindrical base. A pragmatic design prioritizing stability over bipedal locomotion. Multiple Intel RealSense cameras throughout the head, arms, hands, and abdomen provide real-time perception data.
The OmniSense VLA (Vision-Language-Action) AI model processes visual, depth, and tactile data to understand and interact with home environments. The system learns and adapts by recognizing object shapes, positions, and interaction states on the fly. Rather than working alone, Onero H1 coordinates with SwitchBot's ecosystem of robot vacuums, air purifiers, and other smart devices.
Demonstrated capabilities include serving coffee, washing dishes, doing laundry, and folding clothes. The four-hour battery enables extended operation. Beta programs planned for mid-2026 will gather real-world data for iteration. SwitchBot's approach, modest hardware coordinating with existing automation, may prove more practical for home deployment than expensive standalone humanoids attempting to do everything themselves.
