About Robin

ROBIN from Roboligent is a mobile dual-arm humanoid robot designed specifically for smart factory automation, combining patented compliant manipulator technology with AI-based imitation learning to automate material handling, machine tending, and logistics tasks.

Unlike rigid industrial robots, Robin features 'soft robot' arms that provide unprecedented flexibility and safety. These compliant manipulators use elastic actuators that yield on contact, enabling the robot to handle delicate objects and work safely alongside humans without protective barriers. The bimanual configuration, two independent arms working together that enables complex, human-like manipulation tasks that single-arm robots cannot perform.

Robin's AI system eliminates traditional robot programming. Instead of writing complex code, users simply demonstrate tasks, and Robin learns by observation through imitation learning. This dramatically reduces deployment time and enables the robot to adapt to new tasks quickly. The AI handles navigation, object recognition, and decision-making in complex environments, allowing Robin to respond to unforeseen situations.

Roboligent's fleet management system enables seamless integration of multiple Robin robots into existing factory workflows. The robots coordinate autonomously, optimizing efficiency and task distribution across the fleet. Founded to address labor shortages in manufacturing, Roboligent also develops REGEN, a device for physical therapy in patients with neuromuscular disorders, demonstrating the company's expertise in compliant robotics for safe human interaction.
