A small humanoid home companion robot with embodied intelligence, designed for home care, learning, and everyday assistance.
The Zeroth M1 emerged from stealth at CES 2026 as a compact humanoid robot designed to bring embodied intelligence into everyday homes. Standing just 494mm tall, the M1 is engineered for home companionship and light assistance, offering a unique blend of bipedal walking and wheeled locomotion.
The robot features 20 degrees of freedom and runs on Google Gemini AI, enabling it to conduct conversations, deliver reminders, and recognize potential emergencies. Its sensor suite includes LDS LiDAR for mapping, an iTOF depth sensor, and vision cameras for comprehensive environmental awareness.
Key capabilities include fall detection, mobile safety checks, daily assistance alerts, scam prevention for elderly users, interactive learning for children, and pet behavior monitoring. The M1 can operate in bipedal mode at 0.05 m/s or switch to wheeled mode for faster movement at 0.6 m/s.
With approximately two hours of active battery life and automatic docking for recharging, the M1 is designed for continuous home use. The robot supports an open multi-language programming platform, VR integration, and reinforcement learning tools for developers and researchers.
Founded in 2024, Zeroth Robotics combines advanced AI and embodied intelligence to build humanoid and mobile robots for homes, schools, and organizations. Pre-orders opened with shipping scheduled for April 2026.
