About VB2

Lanxin Robotics' VB2 advances the VersaBot platform with enhanced capabilities while maintaining the 'pure vision' navigation approach that defines Lanxin's differentiation. As the company's second-generation platform, VB2 incorporates deployment experience from VB-1 and VB1-I to deliver production-ready improvements.

The VB2 builds on Lanxin's proprietary 3D visual perception technology with expanded sensing capabilities. Enhanced RGB-D cameras extend the 270°×70° field of view and 30-meter range while improving point cloud map resolution for more accurate autonomous navigation. The dual-lens manipulation camera system maintains ±0.1 mm precision while adding expanded object recognition capabilities.

Actuator and control system refinements improve manipulation speed and payload capacity, addressing specific limitations identified through customer feedback. The self-developed core controller, optimized using accumulated industrial deployment data, delivers more robust task execution algorithms for complex multi-step operations.

Lanxin targets the industrial and logistics segments where vision-based navigation provides advantages over LiDAR-dependent alternatives: lower cost, faster deployment in environments with reflective surfaces, and reduced calibration requirements. The VB2 positions Lanxin in the practical middle ground between research platforms and premium industrial systems, serving customers requiring capable humanoid presence at competitive price points.
